Perfluorohexanone is an important substitute for halon fire extinguishing agent, a compound of fluoroketones, and a colorless and odorless liquid at normal temperature and pressure.
The evaporation heat of perfluorohexanone is 1/25 of that of water, and the vapor pressure is 25 times of that of water. These properties make it easy to vaporize and exist in a gaseous state. It mainly relies on heat absorption to achieve fire extinguishing effect, and can put out Class A, B, C, and E fires. The principle of heat absorption and fire extinguishing is that PFH will form mixed gas with air, which has stronger heat storage capacity than air, which means that it can remove more heat during operation. Perfluorohexadone has the heat storage capacity of the existing commercial halon substitute.
The fire extinguishing design concentration of PFH is generally 4-6%, which is far lower than that of heptafluoropropane fire extinguishing agent (8-10%). The NOAEL concentration of perfluorohexadone is 10%, which is higher than the NOAEL concentration of heptafluoropropane fire extinguishing agent (9%), and the safety margin is relatively high.

Working Principle
The working principle of the PFH automatic fire extinguishing system is that when a fire occurs, the system detector detects the fire source, and the controller will automatically open the vent valve to release the Novec1230 /FK-5-1-12 fire extinguishing agent from the pipe network and enter the fire extinguishing area to extinguish the fire. The fire extinguishing system is an ideal fire extinguishing device with simple operation, high automation and fast and effective fire extinguishing.
