Description of UL FM200 Fire Suppression System
HFC-227ea gas fire extinguishing device usually includes components such as fire extinguishing agent cylinder group (fire extinguishing agent steel cylinder, cylinder head valve), starter (gas starter, electromagnetic starter, manual starter), release hose, one-way valve, low discharge high seal valve, manifold, manifold safety valve, selection valve, drive cylinder group, release pressure switch, nozzle, fire extinguishing agent delivery pipeline, etc. HFC-227ea gas fire extinguishing devices can be divided into single zone systems and multi zone systems based on the number of protected areas, namely unit independent systems and combined distribution systems.
For a single zone system, after receiving a command from the gas fire extinguishing control panel, the electromagnetic starter opens the bottle head valve (i.e. the active bottle), and the active bottle starts to spray. The gas from the active bottle passes through the starting hose, and opens the bottle head valves (i.e. the driven bottle) of other connected fire extinguishing agent bottle groups, and all gas cylinders start to spray. The extinguishing agent is transported along the pipeline to the protected area and sprayed through nozzles.
